velma — GuitArduino Controller

velma is a learning device for guitar beginners which is aimed at the open-source community of Rea and Fry’s Processing and Arduino. The project contains two products: a prototype of a guitar controller and software. The controller is communicating the user’s behavior to a self-written program that provides real-time feedback.

Tools used: Arduino, Processing, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Pro Engineer; soldering gun
Materials used: deconstructed Ashton e-guitar, pinewood, radio wires

This project forms the base of my Bachelor project velma 2.0.
