This project aimed to do extreme experiments with unconventional materials. The results of all course members concluded in a group exhibition. The goal was to make objects that in context seemed unusual and senseless in respective to the material they were made of. I made six caramel lamps, which emitted colorful lighting on other exhibited objects. As soon as the bulb was switched on the candy started warming up, eventually melting upon the whole room.
Tools used: plastic mold, pan, heat gun, blast chiller
Materials used: caramel, 60 Watt-lamps, nylon strings, acrylic glass plates
